*Al-HAKIKA * (The Truth)
The first periodic electronic magazine specializing in documenting the crimes of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Sudan. Published in three languages to serve as a reference for international organizations and mechanisms concerned with protection of human rights worldwide. Issue No. 26, June 2025.
Foreword
The Minister of Culture and Information and official government spokesman for Sudan, Khaled Al-Aiser, stated that the suicide drone attack by the terrorist militia is a full-fledged aggression directed and supported by the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Aiser added in a statement that the city of Port Sudan was subjected to a treacherous attack on the morning of Sunday, May 4, 2025, by the criminal Rapid Support Forces militia, backed y its supporters. Seven suicide drones were used in the attack, providing cover for an attack carried out by another strategic drone on Osman Digna Air Base, resulting in material damage but no loss of life.
The government spokesman indicated that the air defense forces were able to intercept and successfully neutralize all of the suicide drones, while the strategic drone struck one of the gables inside the airbase.
Al-Aiser noted that this attack confirms, beyond any doubt, that this war is not merely a rebellion by the Rapid Support Forces militia, but rather a full-fledged aggression directed and supported by the United Arab Emirates.
The provision of this militia with advanced drones operated from control rooms in Abu Dhabi not only poses a threat to Sudanese national security, but also poses a grave threat to regional and international security, requiring urgent and serious action to address such violations.
The United States, the European Union, IGAD, and a number of friendly and sisterly countries condemned these attacks, which targeted vital infrastructure and other civilian targets throughout the country. These countries emphasized that these attacks not only threaten the safety of civilians but also extend to destabilizing regional security.
Meanwhile, international reports have revealed the Rapid Support Forces militia’s use of advanced Chinese weapons, including guided bombs and howitzers, transported to Sudan via the United Arab Emirates, in a single violation of the UN arms embargo.
Meanwhile, members of the US Foreign Affairs Committee have condemned the UAE’s continued support for the Rapid Support Forces militia. There are credible reports and investigations inside and outside the US government confirming this, and that Emirati supplies have contributed to prolonging the war and perpetrating crimes against civilians in Sudan.
In light of this clear violation of international laws and norms, the international community remains silent regarding these crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces militia with direct support from the UAE.
As the first Sudanese platform specializing in documenting the crimes of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), The Truth documenting in its 26th issue, the UAE’s targeting of Sudan’s infrastructure and its destabilization of regional security and stability. It also highlights international reports exposing the RSF’s use of lethal weapons with direct UAE support, and the systematic bombing of El Fasher, in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2736. The Truth also documents the militia’s massacres in Al-Maliha, North Darfur, and reveals recent statistics on rapes of women and children and the systematic targeting of medical personnel. The Truth also reveals horrific testimonies from survivors of RSF crimes at Zamzam camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs), and the displacement of thousands of families from Kordofan State. It also highlights the government’s efforts to facilitate the delivery of aid to El Fasher, in coordination with the United Nations, and to remove obstacles facing convoys caused by the RSF.

*The UAE is destroying infrastructure in Sudan and undermining regional and international security and stability*
The Sudanese government stated that the suicide drone attack by the terrorist militia is a full-fledged aggression orchestrated and supported by the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, it confirmed that the city of Port Sudan was subjected to a treacherous attack on Sunday morning, May 4, 2025, by the criminal Rapid Support Forces militia, with the support of its backers. Seven suicide drones were used in the attack, which provided cover for an attack carried out by another strategic aircraft on Osman Digna Air Base and fuel tanks, resulting in significant material damage.
It added that supplying this militia with advanced drones operated from control rooms in Abu Dhabi not only poses a threat to Sudanese national security, but also poses a grave danger to regional and international security, and requires urgent and serious action to address such violations.
Meanwhile, the Sudan Electricity Company revealed that the Port Sudan transformer station was targeted by drones, which hit the station and caused a complete power outage.
In a press release, the company stated that this falls within the systematic and repeated targeting of power stations, negatively impacting citizens’ water, health, and other services.
On May 9, 2025, a drone belonging to the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces targeted the Sidon Company’s warehouses in the center of Atbara, the largest city in River Nile State, for the third time, causing fires in the warehouses.
The Sudanese Doctors Network announced that 17 people were injured, including nine cases of suffocation, due to inhaling gases emitted by fires that broke out at the bombing site in Port Sudan. The Sudanese Doctors Network confirmed that the bombing targeted vital civilian facilities, posing a threat to more than one million civilians living in the city, which until recently had been considered a relatively safe area compared to other conflict zones in the country.
The network called on humanitarian organizations and UN agencies to document this attack and investigate the targeting of civilian infrastructure.
The rebel militia also targeted the Marina (Coral) Hotel in the city.
The hotel was hosting a number of medical and diplomatic missions.
The Markhiyat Transformer Station, the Military College Distribution Station, and the Mahdia Station in Omdurman were all attacked by drones, causing a power outage in Khartoum State, exacerbating the suffering of citizens and disrupting basic services.
A new investigation by Amnesty International exposed the use of advanced Chinese weapons, including guided bombs and howitzers, transported to Sudan via the UAE to support the Rapid Support Forces militia, in clear violation of the UN arms embargo:
Amnesty International said, following its investigation, that advanced Chinese weapons re-exported by the United Arab Emirates were found in Khartoum and also used in Darfur, in flagrant violation of the UN arms embargo.
By analyzing photos and videos documenting the aftermath of attacks carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Amnesty International identified the use of GB50A guided bombs and AH-4 155mm howitzers. This is the first time GB50A bombs have been documented in any conflict worldwide. These weapons are produced by the Norinco Group, also known as China North Industries Corporation, a state-owned defense conglomerate. Evidence strongly suggests that these weapons were re-exported to Sudan by the UAE.
A UN panel of experts, in a Reuters investigation, revealed how Bulgarian mortar shells reached the RSF in Sudan. The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry confirmed to Reuters that no one had requested its permission to re-export the ammunition to a third party.
A US Congressional hearing on May 20, 2025, witnessed a direct confrontation between Democratic Representative Sarah Jacobs and Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding the conflict of interest in the Trump administration’s dealings with the UAE, in light of the ongoing war in Sudan.
Jacobs opened her remarks by highlighting the crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces militia in Sudan, asserting that this militia is committing genocide, a description previously announced by the Secretary himself. She pointed out that the UAE openly supports this militia, and that it is unacceptable for the US administration to continue supplying weapons to the UAE in this context.
She then went on to directly criticize President Trump, noting that he personally benefits from significant financial ties with the UAE, while political decisions are made in its favor. Jacobs explained that President Trump overrode a formal objection from Democratic Representative Gregory Meeks, who attempted to block an arms deal worth more than $1 billion to the UAE. This “obstruction” or “hold” is a congressional oversight tool used to block strategic deals until they are reviewed. However, the Trump administration ignored it and completed the deal without consulting the Foreign Affairs Committee.
Jacobs explained that this overreach was not isolated to Trump’s personal interests, as it coincided with two controversial announcements:
▪︎ On April 30, the Trump Organization announced an 80-story Trump Tower project in Dubai.
▪︎ On May 1, Trump’s cryptocurrency company, World Liberty Financial, concluded a $2 billion deal with an Emirati company with close ties to the government.
According to the company’s official website, Trump and his family own 60% of its shares, directly linking the president to the deal.
Just 11 days later, on May 12, the State Department informed the House Foreign Affairs Committee that it would ignore Meeks’ objection and proceed with the arms deal.
Here, Jacobs accused President Trump of profiting billions of dollars from private relationships with a foreign government while selling them weapons used to support a militia committing genocide against Sudanese civilians.
When Secretary Marco Rubio attempted to defend the position, he said that dealing with the UAE is inevitable for any American president, asserting that it is a partner in the Abraham Accords and a collaborator on a number of issues. He also said that the United States does not agree 100% with the UAE, but that it needs a balance in foreign policy.
Rubio refused to acknowledge a conflict of interest, claiming that the president and his family have the right to own businesses and that Trump has not discussed these deals in his official conversations.
But Jacobs responded sharply, accusing him of seeming more concerned with staying in Trump’s good graces than standing up for human rights and American values, which he had previously said he championed. Recently, Sudanese media outlets and platforms documented deadly American weapons seized by the Sudanese Armed Forces during the liberation of the Saliha area, south of Omdurman.
In an attempt to whitewash its crimes, the UAE has employed its media to improve its tarnished image. This was clearly evident in a number of distorted activities under the guise of humanitarian aid, as confirmed in a report by Al-Hadath TV, “Reasons for the Collapse of the Rapid Support Forces.” The report confirmed the influx of equipment to the Rapid Support Forces from Chad and Libya, confirming that the UAE is attempting distance itself from any accusations.
Meanwhile, the United States announced sanctions on Sudan in a new attempt at political blackmail and to prevent the progress of the armed forces, which participated in the liberation of all Darfur states.

*El Fasher under fire by the Rapid Support Militia, and the Security Council reaffirms its commitment to resolution 2736*
The UN Security Council condemned the attacks by the Rapid Support Militia on El Fasher.
At its last session in early May 2025, the Council issued a statement strongly condemning the rebel Rapid Support Militia in Sudan. The statement clearly and strongly condemned the repeated attacks launched by the Rapid Support Militia on El Fasher and the Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps for internally displaced persons.
Members expressed concern over recent reports that the Rapid Support Militia attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least 400 people, including children and at least 11 aid workers.
Security Council members called for the Rapid Support Militia to be held accountable for these attacks. They referred to Security Council Resolution 2736 of 2024, reaffirming their demand that the Rapid Support Forces militia end the siege of El Fasher and their call for an immediate cessation of fighting and de-escalation in and around El Fasher.
The 15-member Council reiterated their call for accountability for the Rapid Support Forces militia and the perpetrators of attacks on civilians and human rights violations in Sudan.
The Council members also called on all parties to the conflict to protect and respect humanitarian workers, their facilities, and their assets, in accordance with their obligations under international law. They called on the parties to allow safe and unhindered humanitarian access. The Security Council members urged all UN Member States to refrain from external interference that seeks to exacerbate conflict and instability and instead support efforts to achieve a lasting peace.
Activists accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of launching an attack on the town of Brosh, in Umm Kadada locality of North Darfur State, which resulted in deaths and injuries, including women and children.
The RSF has controlled the city of Umm Kadada, located east of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, since April 10.
Umm Kadada Local Emergency Room said in a statement that the Rapid Support Forces militia launched a brutal attack on the village of Brosh, resulting in the deaths and injuries of unarmed civilians, including women and children.
The room strongly condemned these heinous massacres, considering them full-fledged war crimes and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
It is feared that the Rapid Support Forces militia will commit further violations against the population, similar to the crimes they committed against the people of Umm Kadada, which included looting, forced displacement, burning of homes, and the killing of doctors.
The room emphasized that targeting and terrorizing unarmed civilians is completely unacceptable, calling for its immediate cessation.
The Sudan Doctors Network stated that the Rapid Support Forces militia killed nine people, including geologist Dr. Imam Abdel Majeed, as a result of a deliberate missile attack on a mosque in central El Fasher.
The Sudan Doctors Network expressed regret that El Fasher, a city crowded with civilians and displaced persons, has been transformed into a large prison and a place of mass killing. As a result of the random raids that continue to claim the lives of civilians, including women, the elderly, and children, there is no safe place for civilians to hold a sit-in. All sites, including homes, hospitals, mosques, and schools, have become targets for the militia.
On May 15, 2025, activists reported that 14 civilians were killed and others were injured in a shelling by the Rapid Support Forces on a market in Abu Shouk camp, north of El Fasher, North Darfur State, western Sudan.
The Abu Shouk camp emergency room confirmed in a statement that “14 people were killed and others were injured as a result of artillery shelling by the Rapid Support Forces that targeted the Naivasha market in Abu Shouk camp.”
It explained that the shelling targeted the market as a gathering place, as well as other sites within the camp, such as mosques and homes near public facilities.

*(203) civilians killed by the Rapid Support Forces were buried in Al-Maliha, North Darfur*
In May 2025, a human rights observatory said it documented the burial of approximately 203 people killed by the Rapid Support Forces militia. Rapid Support Forces (RSF) forces seized control of the town of Al Malha in North Darfur State on March 20, a strategic area at a crossroads between Ad Dabba in the north, Hamra al-Sheikh in the east, and El Fasher in the south. The RSF forces then committed horrific violations against the residents.
Al-Malha Center for Human Rights said in a statement that “more than a month after the RSF attack on Al Malha, 203 people killed by the RSF were buried in various parts of the town.”
The statement stated that the militia killed large numbers of civilians inside their homes or while leaving the town, including women, children, and the elderly.
It revealed many people have been missing whose whereabouts remain unknown, accusing the RSF of systematic impoverishment through looting of markets and homes, in addition to systematic destruction, such as burning of markets and homes.
The statement spoke of the displacement of more than 98% of the city’s residents, equivalent to approximately 110,000 families, to villages and other areas. They are living in extremely dire humanitarian conditions due to the scarcity of food, water, and shelter materials, the near-total absence of humanitarian aid, and the cessation of trade, which portends a catastrophe if the current situation persists.
It confirmed the existence of a major drinking water crisis in the city due to the lack of fuel at water stations, with some of them shut down due to malfunctions. It called on humanitarian and charitable organizations and agencies to work to provide necessary humanitarian aid, especially food, water, medicine, shelter, and hygiene supplies.

*UN Experts Document 330 cases of sexual violence in Sudan this year*
On May 15, 2025, independent UN human rights experts revealed in a statement that “in 2025, at least 330 cases of conflict-related violence were documented, with the actual number believed to be much higher due to underreporting.”
They noted that victims of sexual violence, including children, face significant obstacles in accessing medical or psychological care.
The statement cited reports of increased enforced disappearances of women and girls in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), where many have been abducted for sexual slavery and exploitation.
It added: “Girls are being taken from displacement sites, shelters, and markets amidst the collapse of protection systems. The deteriorating situation in areas controlled by the RSF has exposed women and girls to increased sexual violence.”
The UN experts condemned widespread violations against women and girls in Sudan, including sexual violence, abduction, and killing.
They reported that women and girls face increased risks of gang rape, sexual slavery, human trafficking, and forced marriage, particularly in Al Jazirah, Sennar, Darfur, and South Kordofan.
The experts noted that women have committed suicide in villages such as Al-Sariha, Al-Azraq, and Rufaa in Al Jazirah State after suffering traumatic assaults, while victims are increasingly considering suicide as a means of escaping the horrors of the ongoing conflict.
The army was able to retake areas of Al-Jazeera State early this year, after they had been under the control of the Rapid Support Forces militia for more than a year, during which horrific violations were committed, including mass killings, sexual violence, looting, and forced displacement.
Experts explained that the collapse of health systems and attacks on displacement camps in El Fasher and other besieged areas led to women giving birth in unsafe and unsanitary conditions, and maternal mortality rates rose sharply.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have been blocking vital supplies from reaching El Fasher, North Darfur, for more than a year, subjecting the city to near-daily shelling and drone attacks, and launching occasional ground attacks.
UN experts expressed concern about attacks on women human rights defenders and frontline workers, who have been raped, killed, and harassed for assisting victims or documenting violations.
The statement emphasized that these violations pose profound harm to individuals and communities, dismantling what protections remain and undermining the prospects for recovery and justice.
It added, “The horrific scale of violence women and girls continue to face is alarming evidence of the erosion of protection for women and girls in times of conflict and the normalization of such violence. The international community must urgently intervene to stem this tide.”
Rape crimes remain a closely guarded topic in Sudanese society due to their close association with honor, with some victims fleeing their families or committing suicide to avoid the stigma.

*(7) Thousand families displaced from west kordofan after being targeted by the Rapid Support Forces Militia*
On May 12, 2025, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), a United Nations agency, reported that more than 7,000 families fled from Nehud and Al-Khawi in West Darfur State.
This followed the Rapid Support Forces’ storming of the city of Nehud, located at a crossroads linking Kordofan and Darfur. The forces then regained control of Al-Khawi, a week after the militia seized it and continued their advance to villages on the outskirts of Nehud.
In an update, the IOM stated that “7,204 families were displaced on May 1 and 2 from Nehud and Al-Khawi due to increased insecurity.”
It indicated that the clashes in Nehud forced 5,451 families to flee, with most of them displaced to locations within the locality, while the rest fled to the areas of Ghubaysh, Wad Banda, and Al-Salam in West Kordofan, and West Bara in North Kordofan.
It reported that the fighting that erupted in Al-Khawi forced 1,678 families to flee to towns within Al-Khawi and West Bara.
It stated that the attack on the village of Al-Sardaba in Al-Khawi locality on May 2nd displaced 75 families.
The Sudanese Armed Forces’ Al-Sayyad Brigade is advancing to retake areas of West Kordofan State under the control of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), in preparation for moving to East Darfur State or to El Fasher in North Darfur to lift the siege imposed there.
The Sudanese Doctors Network added that the RSF committed a major massacre in the city of Al-Nehud, killing more than 100 people, including 21 children and 15 women, while looting medical supplies, markets, and the Al-Nehud Hospital.
On May 15th, 2025, at least four people were killed and more than 60 others were injured in an airstrike carried out by the RSF on a medical facility in Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, western Sudan.
Eyewitnesses and doctors told #SudanTribune that “a strategic drone belonging to the Rapid Support Forces militia dropped a missile on the army’s military hospital, resulting in the initial death of four patients and more than 60 serious injuries.”
Sources reported that some of the injured were transferred to the Social Security Hospital and Al-Obeid Teaching Hospital.

*Rape cases rise to 31 and enforced disappearances to 52 in Zamzam IDP Camp*
May 15, 2025 – The spokesperson for the Zamzam IDP camp in North Darfur reported on Thursday an increase in the number of murders, rapes, and enforced disappearances recorded on the online platform.
The administration of Zamzam camp, located 12 kilometers south of El Fasher, launched an online platform to monitor the violations that displaced people in the camp have been subjected to by members of the Rapid Support Forces militia.
Zamzam camp’s senior management spokesperson, Mohamed Khamis Doda, told Sudan Tribune, “The latest update on the online platform reported 31 rape cases and 52 enforced disappearances, while the death toll reached 173 in one week.”
He pointed out that the platform faces a number of challenges, including low registration rates due to the lack of internet access for most of the displaced, especially in El Fasher and Tawila.
He explained that many Zamzam residents lost their phones during the attack on the camp or during their displacement. Many were also forced to sell their phones to pay for transportation to safe areas, which has impacted the weak response in documenting the violations they were subjected to.
The Rapid Support Forces launched a violent attack on Zamzam on April 11, following months of artillery shelling, and seized control of the camp after three days of clashes that killed 400 civilians, including aid workers. 406,000 people fled, while 180,000 remain trapped in the camp, according to the report. According to UN reports.

*Mass graves containing the bodies of 465 Rapid Support Forces militia victims were found in Al-Saliha:*
On May 22, 2025, the Sudanese Armed Forces reported that they had discovered mass graves containing the bodies of 465 Rapid Support Forces militia victims in southern Omdurman, Khartoum State. They died from starvation, torture, and lack of medical treatment.
This is the second largest mass grave discovered by the army. In March, a grave containing at least 550 bodies was found in northern Khartoum Bahri, near a Rapid Support Forces headquarters used for imprisoning and torturing individuals.
The Al-Saliha area, located in Omdurman locality, has been under the control of the Rapid Support Forces since the outbreak of the military conflict on April 15, 2023.

*The Sudanese government agrees to establish new logistical bases to facilitate aid delivery to El Fasher*
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received a phone call from the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, Tom Fletcher.
During the call, they discussed humanitarian issues and the delivery of humanitarian aid to El Fasher.
The call addressed the possibility of delivering aid to El Fasher while avoiding obstacles to humanitarian convoys from the terrorist rebel Rapid Support Forces militia. The emphasis was placed on the need to deliver aid quickly via roads that facilitate the passage of humanitarian convoys to El Fasher.
The United Nations had requested the establishment of logistical supply bases around El Fasher to facilitate humanitarian work, particularly in the areas of Mellit and Tawila, and the Sudanese government agreed to this.
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, also met with the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Ramtane Lamamra, in the presence of Ambassador Idris Ismail, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement, “Ramtane Lamamra conveyed to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council a message from UN Secretary-General António Guterres regarding the UN’s role in Sudan, both in peace and war.”
Ambassador Idriss indicated that the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council renewed Sudan’s confidence in the significant role played by the UN in addressing Sudan’s issues, stressing that he will work to support this role to achieve peace and security.
His Excellency indicated that the meeting addressed the overall humanitarian situation, noting that the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council affirmed that Sudan will spare no effort in assisting the UN in reaching those in need.
For his part, Lamamra said that he delivered a message from UN Secretary-General António Guterres to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, indicating that he heard clear answers from the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council on most of the points and questions the international community wishes to explore regarding the future prospects.
The Secretary-General’s envoy expressed his hope that security, stability, and comprehensive peace will be achieved in Sudan, and that energies will be harnessed for reconstruction and the provision of decent living conditions and essential services for citizens. Ramtan affirmed the United Nations’ commitment to its mission towards the Sudanese people and state, saying, “The United Nations will continue to work to fulfill its duties in the areas of humanitarian support and efforts to achieve the desired peaceful solution within the framework of international community resolutions, the UN Charter, and all relevant conventions.”
He added that during his visits to Sudan, he received a wealth of answers and information, which will be conveyed to the UN Secretary-General and the UN Security Council. He reiterated the UN’s commitment to standing by Sudan in the service of peace and a better future for the Sudanese state.
On May 15, 2025, the United Nations welcomed the Sudanese government’s decision to extend the opening of the Adre border crossing with Chad.
The government agreed to open the Adre crossing, located in West Darfur State, for three months starting August 15, 2024, and has continued to maintain it open ever since.
UN Resident Representative Clementine Nkweta Salami welcomed the decision to keep the Adre crossing open for an additional three months in a tweet on the X platform.
She noted that the crossing represents a lifeline for millions of people and is the most efficient way to deliver life-saving assistance to people in Darfur.
The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported in a statement that 1,600 trucks carrying 54,300 metric tons of life-saving humanitarian assistance entered Sudan through the Adre crossing from August 2024 to May.
He explained that 77% of these trucks were loaded with emergency food and livelihood support, while the remainder consisted of vital health, water, sanitation, hygiene, shelter, education, and nutrition supplies.
The office stated that these supplies were sufficient to meet the urgent needs of 2.3 million of the most vulnerable people in Darfur and Kordofan.
It stated that this aid was provided to 742,000 individuals in Central Darfur, 557,800 in West Darfur, 424,000 in East Darfur, 382,400 in North Darfur, 102,000 in South Darfur, and 73,900 in West Kordofan.
It emphasized that the road to the Tina crossing poses significant risks for civilians seeking refuge in Chad, with many recent arrivals reporting extortion and violence along the way.
The Sudanese government asserts that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are exploiting the Adré crossing to transport military equipment and weapons arriving from the UAE via Chadian airports.

*Khartoum is Free*
On May 20, 2025, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) inflicted a crushing defeat on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The SAF announced the complete liberation of the Sudanese capital after seizing control of the last RSF strongholds in western and southern Omdurman.
Sudanese Army Spokesperson Nabil Abdullah said in a statement, “We announce today the complete cleansing of the entire state of Khartoum from any presence of the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia and the cleansing of our national capital from the filth of the rebels and their supporters.” He emphasized that “Khartoum state is completely free of rebels.”
He continued, “The armed forces and all components participating in the National Dignity War continue to fulfill their sacred duty in fighting the thugs of aggression and criminals from the Al-Dagalo militia and their supporters from among the local, regional, and international forces of evil. We are achieving victories day after day with determination and unwavering will, thanks to God’s grace and the support and solidarity of our people.”
Earlier, the Sudanese Armed Forces resumed ground operations in the areas south of Omdurman, where they led fierce battles against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), enabling them to seize control of the Al-Saliha area. They also fully recaptured Umm Ramta locality, as well as all the villages in the southern countryside of Omdurman, located west of the Jebel Awliya reservoir.
In late March, elements of the RSF militia, withdrawing from Khartoum and Jebel Awliya localities, committed widespread violations against civilians in the villages of Al-Jam’iya, killing large numbers of civilians and displacing thousands.
